MAM renews agreement with Bank of Valletta - 26/4/2011

Bank of Valletta is extending its support to the Medical Association of Malta for a further three years. With the signing of the new agreement. The MAM is also recogninzing Bank of Valletta as its official Bank.
The agreement was signed by Michael Galea, Chief Officer Operations at Bank of Valletta and Dr Martin Balzan, President of the Medical Association of Malta at Bank of Valletta’s Head Office in Santa Venera.
Bank of Valletta’s collaboration with the MAM dates back to 2003 and forms part of a network of strategic alliances through which Bank of Valletta supports business and professional associations within our Community.
The agreement will see Bank of Valletta offering added value to Malta's medical professionals in recognition of the most important role that they play within the Maltese society. It will also see BOV strengthening the relationship with the Medical Association of Malta and its members, making available its financial expertise to meet the unique and extensive requirements of Malta’s medical practitioners.”
Signing the agreement, Mr Galea said “The business benefits being made available under this agreement will incentivise the members of the Association to expand and modernise their practices, which in turn will benefit the community at large”.
“The aim of the Association is to unite all members within the medical profession and to safeguard the good name of the Medical Profession in Malta” said Dr Balzan. “The MAM currently has over 700 members and we are proud that such a noble profession is associated with a financial institution with a level of professionalism that is expected from our members.”
