MAM signs agreement on Registrar Posts in Anaesthesia, Psychiatry and Pathology - 14/6/2005

MAM has signed an agreement with the government, so as to change the eligibility criteria for candidates applying for registrar posts, in the above mentioned departments.

As the final post graduate exams in these specialities are exit exams, which are normally passed on the completion of training, candidates for registrar posts will only be required to have passed the first part of the examinations to be eligible for the registrar posts.

For example a candidate with two years training in anaesthesia, and who has passed part one of the EDA, will be eligible for the registrar post. The Same applies for psychiatry and pathology.
