22nd May - Concert in Aid of Multiple Sclerosis society - 14/5/2006

The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Malta proudly announces a piano concert by Russian pianist Olga Bobrovnikova at the Ballroom of the Radisson Golden Sands Hotel on Monday 22 May at 7.45pm.

Admission to the concert, which is under the distinguished patronage of Mrs. Kate Gonzi, is free of charge

Ms Bobrovnikova is an accomplished concert pianist who studied at the Moscow Conservatory and the Genessin Institute and has played all over the world. Her concert in Malta follows closely on the heels of much- acclaimed concerts in Philadelphia and Bratislava. She has already played twice in Malta at international multiple sclerosis conferences. Because what is very special about Ms Bobrovnikova is that she has suffered from MS for many years and, in spite of the problems she faces because of her condition, her spirit remains undaunted.

The programme selected by Ms Bobrovnikova appeals to a wide audience and includes pieces by Bach, Debussy, Rubinstein, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Lizst, Tchaikovsky, Sciabine, Gershwin and Scott Joplin.

Donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Malta would be appreciated
