Notice on IT system use - to all doctors at St. Luke’s Hospital - 13/8/2007

Training on iSoft Clinical Manager (i.CM)

iSoft Clinical Manager (iCM) is the name of the new computer program that will be used at Mater Dei Hospital as an Electronic Medical Record, to send Orders for Lab Tests and Medical Imaging, and to receive results of Lab Tests and reports on Medical Images.

You will be using this software on a daily bases, and its functions will be expanded over a period of time.
During the initial stages, through this software you will be:

1. Requesting lab tests (bloods etc) - replacing the current pink form and other Pathology Department forms

2. Requesting radiology studies - replacing the current Medical Imaging/X-ray form)

3. View lab results

4. View radiology reports

All those doctors interested to be among the first to be trained are kindly asked to call the Hospital IT Trainers for an appointment. Please call between 08:00 to 10:30 hours daily on 1715/5339, page on 356 2961 or email on

support.slh@gov.mt. Please avoid calling after this time because the Trainers will be attending to the said lectures.

Training sessions will be held at the Department of Heath Information, 95 G’Mangia Hill (right next to the ambulance garage).

When applying, please indicate the date and time you wish to attend. Lectures will be held daily, including Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays at 11:00, 13:00, 15:00 and 17:00 hours.
