We are pleased to announce that a new committee has been appointed to lead the Medical Association of Malta (MAM) as of 25/04/2025.
The newly elected committee members are:
• President – Dr Patrick Sammut
• Vice-President – Dr Federica Apap Bologna
• General Secretary – Dr Aaron Schembri
• Treasurer – Dr Lara Gerada
• International Secretary – Dr Jeffrey Bonnici
The newly elected Category Representatives are:
• Category A (Directors/Chairmen of Departments, Consultants and full-time members of Academic Staff at the University of Malta)
Dr Neville Azzopardi
• Category B ( Resident specialists and higher specialist trainees )
Ms Sarah Catania
• Category C ( Basic Specialist trainees and Foundation doctors )
Dr Matthew Buttigieg
• Category D ( Medical Officers in Health Centres and GP trainees )
Dr Dale Brincat
• Category E ( Specialists and Family Doctors not engaged primarily in full time service with Government )
Dr Kenneth Vassallo
• Category F ( all other members not included in the above categories )
Dr Joseph Portelli Demajo
